In 2024, Van der Valk Hotel Gilze-Tilburg will proudly celebrate its 50th anniversary. Since its opening in 1974 as a modest motel with 48 rooms and a large restaurant, the hotel has grown into a leading 4-star resort hotel in Central Brabant. With 200 rooms and suites, 22 hotel apartments, 14 multifunctional rooms, two restaurants, a wellness and fitness center, bowling alleys and even a casino, the hotel offers an unparalleled experience for both business and leisure guests.
Half a century of growth and innovation
The hotel has not stood still over the years. Through continuous expansion and investments in innovation, Van der Valk Hotel Gilze-Tilburg has built up a unique position within the region and beyond. The hotel is known for its pioneering role. Many of the concepts and ideas that come to life here later find their way to other locations within the chain. A recent example is the opening of Oakroom, an atmospheric restaurant that combines culinary refinement and innovation and is a perfect addition to the existing offering.
A year full of festivities
In honour of its golden jubilee, the hotel will be organising various festivities from November 2024. With a team of 300 dedicated employees, Van der Valk Hotel Gilze-Tilburg not only looks back on a rich history, but also ahead to a promising future.
